INITIATIVES

MEET
DR. LAMAR QUINN

Visionary and philanthropist, Dr. Lamar T. Quinn is the co-founder and executive director of Toast for Charity (TFC), a 501(c)(3) organization of Black young professionals united by a shared mission to drive change in the Southern Dallas community. The organization has awarded over $60K+ in educational support to high school and college students through its Emerging Difference-Makers Scholarship Program.
A native of Chicago’s South Side, Lamar is a graduate of Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 2007. He continued his education at The University of Illinois-Chicago, obtaining his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2011. He is currently employed at Vetsource, where he continues his commitment to providing specialized healthcare solutions.
Lamar recently made his entrepreneurial “debut” with his wife, Lauren, by launching Love You Most, a series of elevated, curated events celebrating Black love experiences, and Make A 360°, a 360° camera company specializing in “creating experiences” and “capturing moments.”
He leads a network of accomplished Black men committed to building their own legacies through The Gentlemen’s Toast. Lamar is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and actively engages with the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce.
Despite his demanding schedule, Lamar makes time for his passions: reading, running, skeet shooting, watching sports, and fostering community connections. He embodies an #alloffense mentality—focused not just on surviving but thriving and creating.
He and Lauren (co-founder of TFC) are the proud parents of three sons: Jaxon Tyrell (age 7), Jai Tatum (age 4), and Jamison Trace (age 2).
